Transplant is a design competence centre, which is located in the centre of Dale and next to the beautiful Dalsfjorden.
The contemporary building is designed by Attila Eris (known for his work for Renzo Piano). The aim of Transplant is to help companies
develop internationally competitive projects. Transplant arranges strategical design workshops as well as coaching days for companies.
Throughout the year Transplant offers cultural events and is open for food reservations. Visit the Transplant design studio, the model workshop
and Norway's only innovative material library!
Summer opening hours (June, July and August):
Café with ice-cream, cake and coffee specialities: Tuesday to Friday 9am - 5pm
Cultural Thursday: Lunch at 12pm at Transplant, afterwards guided tour through Transplant at 1pm, thereafter guided tour of the Jacob Sande farm at 3 pm. Order in advance until 9:30 am the same day.
Opening hours:
Lunch-club with homemade food and bread: Tuesday to Friday on reservations before 9:30 am the same day.
Weekend: 10pm - 2am (see program)
